Horror survival roguelite

Dreadlight

Dreadlight is a horror survival roguelite where you pick a cursed survivor, fight through waves of monsters, collect scraps, buy twisted upgrades, and try to keep your light alive as the run gets darker.

Run loopPick. Survive. Buy. Escalate.

Choose a character and starting weapon, survive timed waves, gather scraps from enemies, spend them between rounds on weapons and relics, and manage your light as dread builds around you.

Gameplay

Short runs, sharp choices, worse darkness.

Dreadlight is built around readable chaos. You move, dodge, collect scraps, and make build decisions between waves while your weapons fire on their own. The pressure ramps up through enemy density, boss waves, and dread systems that punish sloppy positioning.

Features

What is already core to the game

  • Cursed survivors with different strengths, weaknesses, and starting pools
  • Auto-firing weapons with upgrades, tiers, and synergies
  • Shop phases between waves where every purchase shapes the run
  • Light and dread systems that make survival feel more tense over time
  • Boss waves, escalating enemy pressure, and replayable builds

Pick a Survivor preview

Pick a Survivor

Start with a cursed survivor, a weapon pool, and a weakness you have to respect. Each character pushes the run toward different buys.

Build Your Arsenal preview

Build Your Arsenal

Weapons fire automatically. Your job is positioning, upgrades, and building synergies before the wave gets out of control.

Survive the Dark preview

Survive the Dark

Light gives you room to breathe. Dread makes that room smaller. The longer a run goes, the more the arena pushes back.

Spend Scraps Between Waves preview

Spend Scraps Between Waves

Enemies drop scraps. Between rounds, spend them on weapons, relics, rerolls, and bad ideas that might become the build.

Weapons

Build Your Arsenal

Weapons are auto-firing, but the build is not automatic. Tiers, tags, and relics change how the run handles crowds, bosses, light, and economy.

Between waves

Spend Scraps Between Waves

The shop is where the run bends. Buy a clean upgrade, take a risky relic, reroll, or save scraps for the next wave. Every purchase should make the next minute feel different.
